Canara Bank, a leading public sector bank and among the 19 participating bank of IBPS exam invites application from all talented & qualified Indian Citizens for the post of Probationary Clerks. Canara Bank invites ON-LINE applications, from qualified candidates who hold a valid IBPS Score Card issued by IBPS, for recruitment to the post of 2000 Probationary Clerks. Total No. of Vacancies : 2000 vacancies (UR 1038, SC 332, ST 143, OBC 487) (PH 88, Ex-SM 271),

Pay Scale : Rs. 7200 – 19300,

Educational Qualification

A pass with 60% marks in the aggregate in Matriculation / SSC (old pattern) / SSLC/ 10th Std.

A pass with 50% marks in HSC examination of 10+2 (10+2+3) pattern / 11th Std. of (11+1+3) pattern or Intermediate / Pre-University or any equivalent examination / Diploma in Banking recognized by Central / State Government or U.T. administration.

Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

Age Limit (as on 01st August 2011) : 18 – 23 years,

Application Fee

Rs. 100/- for GENERAL /OBC candidates.

Rs. 50/- for SC / ST & PWD candidates.

Application fee has to be paid through CBS Branches of Canara Bank, by mean of a payment challan as per the format given on the bank’s website OR through NEFT at any Branch.
