The story begins in the rustic town of Motihari in the interiors of Bihar, the story shifts focus to the bustling city of Mumbai. Madhubala, a story of a girl born on the sets of a Bollywood film who grows up to be mesmerizingly beautiful. She has no aspirations of entering the glamorous film industry but fate has something else in store for her. A girl with simple dreams is compelled to act and to everyone’s surprise a new star is born.

Madhubala… Ek Ishq, Ek Junoon stars Drashti Dhami as Madhubala (popularly known as Geet from Geet… Hui Sabse Parayi) & Vivian Dsena as RK Superstar aka Rishabh Kumar (popularly known Abhay Raichand / Abhayendre Singh from Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani) in lead roles. Madhubala also stars Raj Zutshi as Balraj Chaudhary, Sushmita Mukkherjee as Bundela Dai Maa, Shagufta Ali as Badi Chaudhrain, Lalit Parimoo as Guruji, Pallavi Purohit as Padmini, Rakhi Vijan as Roma Bhupinder Singh as Shamsher Mallick & Manish Nagdev as Mukund Dixit.
