IBPS CWE Officers & Office Assistant Recruitment in Regional Rural Banks (RRB’s), June-2012

A Common Written Examination (CWE) will be conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IPBS) for the recruitment of Group A Officers (Scale-I,II and III) and Group B Office-Assistants for Regional Rural Banks- RRB’s (Gramin Banks). Applications are invited for the first CWE for Rural Banks Officer posts (Scale-I,II and III) and Office-Assistants, for which CWE will be conducted on 02nd September 2012 for Officers and 09th September 2012 for Office-Assistant posts.Those will be successful in the Common Written Exam (CWE) will be given a scorecard (Like CAT exam of IIM) and may apply to any of the participating rural bank when they come up with their job vacancy and then these successful candidates have quote their personal details and their CWE scores. This score card will be valid for one year from the date of issuance.

Age Limit as on 01st June 2012

For Officer Scale- III : Below 40 years
For Officer Scale- II : Above 21 years – Below 32 years
For Officer Scale- I : Above 18 years – Below 28 years
For Office Assistant : Between 18 years and 28 years

Educational Qualification & Experience as on 01st June 2012

Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

Educational Qualification : Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent
Essential : Proficiency in local language.

Officer Scale-I

Educational Qualification: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.
Essential : Proficiency in local language.

Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer)

Educational Qualification : Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Working Experience : Two years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.

Officer Scale-II (Specialist Officers)

Chartered Accountant : Certified Associateship (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with 01 year of working experience.
Marketing Officer : Post Graduate Degree in Marketing from a recognized University with 01 year of working experience.
Treasury Manager : Certified Associateship (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Post graduate Degree in Finance from a recognized University/ Institution with 01 year of working experience.
Agricultural Officer : Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy Science/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture or allied specializations or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with 02 years of working experience.

Officer Scale-III

Educational Qualification : Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Working Experience : Minimum 5 years experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institutions.

Application Fees :Application Fees payable from 01st June 2012 to 25th June 2012 (Online Payment) and 04th June 2012 to 30th June 2012 (Offline Payment) – both dates inclusive.Officer (Scale I, II & III)

Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Rs.450/- for all others

Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates.
Rs. 350/- for all others

Bank Transaction charges for Offline/ Online Payment of fees/ intimation charges will have to be borne by the candidates.
