Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), a Govt. of India Undertaking bank and among the 19 participating bank of IBPS exam invites application from all talented & qualified Indian Citizens for the post of Clerical. IOB invites ON-LINE applications, from qualified candidates who hold a valid IBPS Score Card issued by IBPS, for recruitment to the post of 1500 Clerk’s. Clerk

Total No. of Vacancies : 1500 vacancies (UR-824, SC-253, ST-50, OBC-373) (PH-53, Ex.SM-225),

Pay Scale : Scale Rs. 7200 – 19300,

Educational Qualification :

A Pass with 65% marks (60% for SC/ST/PC/EXSM) in HSC of 10 + 2 (10+2+3) pattern or Intermediate / Pre-University or any equivalent examination recognized by Central / State Government or U.T. Administration. (OR)

A pass with 60% marks in Diploma in Banking (55% for SC/ST/PC/EXSM) recognized by Central / State Government or U.T. Administration.(OR)

A degree with a minimum of 50% of marks (45% for SC/ST/PC/EXSM) in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Govt

Age Limit (as on 01st August 2011) : 18 – 28 years,

Application Fee

Rs. 100/- for GENERAL /OBC candidates.

Rs. 20/- for SC / ST & PWD candidates.

Application fee have to be paid in cash only at Branches of Indian Overseas Bank & take candidates copy of payment receipt challan.
