The First Superstar of Hindi Cinema Rajesh Khanna died yesterday. Rajesh Khanna, the popular actor of 70′s died yesterday at his home in Mumbai. He was 69 & was suffering from cancer. Bollywood stars & his fans arrived in large numbers to bid goodbye to First Superstar” of Hindi cinema.

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachch, Shahrukh Khan, Poonam Dhillon, Ranbhir Kapoor, Shabana Aazmi were among the celebrities who were spotted paying their last respects to the actor.

Fans of Rajesh Khanna gathered in large numbers outside his residence in Mumbai to get the glimpse of the actor

The funeral procession of Khanna began from his bungalow, ‘Aashirwad’ on Carter Road at around 10 am with fans queuing up to pay their last respects to the Bollywood phenomenon. His body is being taken to the Pawan Hans crematorium in an open truck, wrapped with white flowers.

Resting in a glass coffin, the body of the superstar was accompanied by son-in-law and actor Akshay Kumar, estranged wife Dimple Kapadia and his younger daughter Rinkie Khanna by his side atop the vehicle, flanked by huge black and white photographs of the actor, on both sides.
