Editorial policy & fact-checking

Last updated 8 November 2026 (IST). Applies to all CareerMasti biographies and articles.

CareerMasti exists to give readers accurate, readable answers about the lives of notable Indians. This page explains how articles are researched, checked and corrected.

Who writes and checks articles

Articles are published under the name of the editor, Tulasiram Pemmadi, who is responsible for everything on the site. Researched and written with AI assistance, fact-checked against the linked sources. AI tools help us gather sources and draft text. The editor then checks names, dates, figures, awards and quotations against the cited sources, removes anything he cannot verify and approves the article before publication. We never invent reporters, interviews or quotations.

Sources

We rely on named, published sources, preferring official records (government honours lists, award organisers, sports bodies), established news organisations, reference works and the subject's own verified statements. Wikipedia is used as a starting point and a cross-check, not as the only source for a contested fact. Each article lists its sources at the end, and claims about recent events are checked again at the date shown in the byline.

When sources disagree

If reliable sources give different birth dates, ages, award results or figures, we say so on the page and explain which source says what, instead of choosing one silently. Award tables mark entries as verified, disputed or single-source. Restoring an old CareerMasti address is never a reason to repeat an old error.

Ages, heights and personal details

Ages are calculated from the birth date shown; for people who have died, we give their age at death. Heights are included only where they have been reliably reported, and are labelled as reported figures. We avoid speculation about health, relationships and private family members who are not public figures.

Net worth

We publish a net-worth figure only when a credible, named source has estimated it, such as the Hurun India Rich List or Forbes. We show the source and year, because these estimates change. Where no credible estimate exists, we say so rather than repeating figures from celebrity-wealth websites.

Images

We use only freely licensed or public-domain photographs, mostly from Wikimedia Commons, with the photographer, licence and source credited under each image. Every image has descriptive alt text. We do not use promotional stills, paparazzi photos or AI-generated likenesses of real people.

Updates and corrections

The "Last updated" date in each byline shows when the article was last reviewed. Factual errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed; see our corrections policy. To report a problem, email contact@nextplayintel.com.
