The voice of the 2000s

"Mehboob Mere" from Fiza (2000) brought another Filmfare nomination, and over the next decade Sunidhi became one of the busiest singers in Hindi films. She was much in demand for high-energy dance numbers such as "Dhoom Machale" from Dhoom (2004), "Kaisi Paheli" from Parineeta (2005) and "Deedar De" from Dus (2005), but she also sang romantic songs and ballads, including "Meri Zindagi Mein Ajnabee" for Anu Malik and "Bhaage Re Mann" from Chameli (2004).

The same year she sang "Udi" for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Guzaarish and featured on an India mix of Enrique Iglesias's "Heartbeat".
